This was our first trip back to Temptation since it had been rebranded from Blue Bay Getaway. The first thing I noticed were the rooms were so much nicer since they had been redone. The next thing that I really loved was that a lot of the same staff was there. I do miss Nice Shoes being where Margaritas was because of the nice ocean breeze. But I have to say the party is really nice at PattyO's. A much livelier crowd dancing at night than it used to be which I liked. I don't remember if there as many stumbling drunk and some slightly obnoxious folks but there were a few but none got in our way. Now the lame part. I am sorry that we didn't get to know many of you better. We did not really care to hang out in the pool. I could say I have done it before and don't care to do it now. But the reality is maybe I am an old fart now. Or I can blame it on Kristy because she loves to lay on the beach and read during the day. We never meant to not socialize but we just did what we like to do. We did love meeting everyone and will see you next time. Kristy didn't want to get up to make the Boobs Cruise but I drug her out of bed. She was glad she went. We had a great time. We were in the front of the boat chillin for the first half but something happened on the way back. Gary, did you get pictures? Thanks again to Steve. 9 years later and I can still come to this site and meet folks and find out what is going on.
That was a very truthful trip report. It was short and lame. Ha ha. Teasing of course There are no rules on what you have to do there and no need to apologize. I'm sure you had a great time
Hey, at least you didn't need to take a vacation...after your vacation, like Kristin and I did. We were exhausted by the last day, I am jealous. :icon_lol:
We did have a good time but I think we may start splitting our trip starting at TTR and going to Desire. The problem with that is that you don't want to leave the first resort. I did have the girl at the beach bar at Desire send me a FB message asking where I was since she knew I was in Q Roo.
We enjoyed meeting you guys, and thanks for the bottle! We may try and get back in April, and definatly next Labor day.
Same here. We will go in April or May for 7 to 10 nights, maybe 5 at TTR and 5 at Desire. I am thinking about booking a 3 or 4 nighter in Nov or Dec. We really enjoyed meeting you guys. I will let you know when we get down toward Houston. Did you drink the bottle? We didn't even take any booze back but did buy Kristy several bottles of Givenchy perfume. The weather is a bit hot Labor Day and the threat of hurricanes. May has been my absolutely favorite month. Just right for dressing up at night but not chilly and nice hot days but not too hot.
Nothing lame about your trip report. I actually finished my book while we were there. The first afternoon when Tonya got drunk by 4 pm I read while she slept in the room. I also read when she was doing the girl thing getting ready for dinner and in the mornings before the bar opened. We also did a couple hours in the hammocks later in the week when we were a bit burned out. Whatever makes your vacation good for you is what you should do.
We were too. I am still not myself. Did manage to get up and work out this morning, but it was a half ass workout.
Great It was so great to meet you both!!!!! Leanne and I enjoyed spending time with you!! Dinner at margaritas was great lot of queso !!! Can't wait to see you again soon!!
We always spend the day on the beach because Suz loves the beach. When we get hot we go up to the pool for awhile then back to the beach. We are pretty low-key during the day. We do enjoy doing the Paty'O thing at night - we have made some awesome friends around that bar. Glad you had a good trip - we leave for TTR on Friday Firm
