I've been watching airfare for a while hoping for a better price. All along non stop flights have been $1180 for two tickets on our dates. Yesterday I found a deal for $727 for two tickets. So even adding a day to the hotel we are saving over $300. One more day of play for less money is a sweet deal for us.
Who did you book your trip with? Just curious since we fly out of the same airport. I have my airfare (sun country) but no room yet, there don't seem to be any deals on the room itself

We booked the flight with Sun Country also. American Airlines is ridiculous from here. What drives me nuts is that I can drive to Austin and fly back to dfw and get on the same flight cheaper than just getting directly on it. Alpha rooms is the best room pricing I could find by far.
Alpha rooms is who I have booked with many times in the past but they are not much better on price than anyone else. They only come out to be about $5 cheaper per night than the TTR website directly and (foreign transaction fees from the credit card company will eat some of that). What is driving me crazy is that I went during peak season, last week in May and only paid $910 for 7 nights and the price on the site right now for the end of October which is not even close to peak season is $1219.99
Maybe the site hates me. I am pretty sure last time I booked the prices were listed per room and not per person
