What makes 2nd, 3rd.... trips at TTR better than the first?

Having been to TTR just once and having had a blast we are really excited to try to go back to TTR again next summer. I wonder how our 2nd time around would be however.

For the repeaters who have returned to TTR, what made your repeating trips better than the first trip?

Did you meet more people?
Did you get crazier?
Did you participate more?

This being my ninth trip, I would say the more you go, the more comfortable you are...it's like a home away from home. Also it really is the people you meet that make your trip, I would have to say that my eighth trip was one of the top three because of the people and all those spontaneous moments that make you giggle for months to come. The weather plays a small factor too...if it rains the entire week then that could suck!!

 

The first trip, we met great people, the second trip (different month than first) we met even more. This trip? Alot from the first two are meeting us there. So I would say the anticipation and commradery you get when u go. That is what it is for us.

 

I agree it's like coming home for us now, three times this year and every time the comfort level is even better. We now know pretty much all the staff by name and a lot of them know us it's like freaking Cheers. As for participating more I think we may have done less this time we did not do all the nice shoes shows etc but partied hard all night less theme nights this time but it was still amazing might of even made the way up to our #1 trip. Of course the people again met soooo many great couples. We love our home away from home.

 

As I just got home from my second trip, I certainly felt more comfortable with everyone. Didn't know really anyone this trip, but still felt so at home! Made my rounds at the bar at night and everyone would stop by the breakfast table and say hi in the morning. I can't wait to meet another new group of great people or hang with the same ones which would be even better!

 

Just 15 days until my 7th trip in 3 years...Each time I come home I'm just not sure that that trip can be topped, but somehow it always gets better !! I'm certain that the upcoming trip will be no exception. Answers to your questions...Yes, Yes and Yes !!!! :daveandmo:

You know what to expect and hit the ground running. Plus you already have friends there or have made new ones here. And you're more willing to have fun!

That's why most repeaters repeat more than once!

 

it's a comfort thing and you know what to expect.How to dress..what to do and all that.

 

Feel the same way, each time is better than the last. The days there seem to be like that even, each better than the last.
