after more than 20 solo visits to blue bay/Temptation over the last 15 years.. i must say 99% people i have met have been lovely, friendly and fun.. that includes singles,couples and groups of singles or mixed sexes...the very isolated incident has been usually alcohol related.. married and single guys in equal numbers lol.... but nothing that i dont normally see in my local club at home..and easily handled..to be honest with 700 people partying at an all inclusive resort every week there is always gonna be an odd little incident.. i really dont think its fair to say its only single guys.. i agree with other posters that if couples dont want to mix with singles then Desire is a better choice....
With everything you've said I'm surprised that you would "usher another couple to TTR" Makes me wonder what this other couple thinks of you now. Just saying!! If we had the experiences or the impressions that you have regarding temptations and singles I would never have recommended the place to anyone. However lucky for us we cannot honestly say some single guy or guys almost ruined our trip.. We've been very lucky in that regard. Hope you have more fun at Desires Cheers

Dude.....we didn't reccommend TTR to them. We reccommended Desire but they didn't feel they were ready for the "big leagues" and wanted a semi nakation and they knew we'd been to TTR a few times so we agreed to go with them. Next summer we're all either all going to Desire or HOPEFULLY bare boating around the Carribean for 2 weeks!
if i diddnt have an absolutely great time at a resort, then i certainly wouldnt go back multiple times, and waste my hard earned money!! but to each thiere own. i have always went with my hubbie, and one time for a girls trip, never, never have i felt put apon, or uncomfortable around single guys. i have always found the majority of the people there to be very polite and respectfull!! i guess people get what they put out on the whole. there can be an occasional creep but they are at the store too. so i dont sweat the small stuff much. soon soon the 12th here we come again. come on singles and couples we will tip a glass or two with ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey great for you all, would love a trip report. We're hooked on Temptations and have tried a couple other places and they just didn't compare and so we keep going back. Look forward to hearing about bare boating?? :lotsofmichaelfs:
What about the single guy who stalks you and call you every nights at 3 or 6am and start talking dirty to you, the other one who get drunk everyday to the point he's throwing up in the pool and carry on drinking, or the other who won't take a no for an answer (that one had a lukcy escape as he always smash his head against a table whne I had to use force to get rid off), or the other one who think it is ok to shake your boob rather than you hand to introduce himself, etc... I can go on. Basically, I now know, and no matter what their age or nationality, I stay clear of the single men. I am glad to see that TTR is now offering Preferential rates to Single Ladies! Back in April there were 19 men for every woman in the pool. It can be scary especially when they behave like vulture. Luckily, they are some well-manered, respectful few who are still coming along and keep a balance.
I made sure I put a single guys section in my trip report from this past weekend. We had 3 hot topless girls and no issues from single guys.
