    Well I've been going to the gym with my husband mon.-fri. For the past 3 weeks. Hitting the weight machines Mon-Wed-Fri. And the treadmill/elliptical on Tue. And Thurs! I have also gone back to the gym this week with a friend and either taken classes or did another hour on the treadmill for the last week. I have not lost except for maybe a pound. I have not measured myself yet but I have mt figures crossed that I see change. Otherwise I'll be very disappointed! Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Good for you getting out that often each week. If you just recently started going to the gym your body will build muscle at a faster rate than it normally would. So, even though the scale is telling you you've lost 1lb in 3 weeks its not taking into account any muscle gained. You may have very well lost 5 lbs of fat and gained 4 lbs of muscle. Your best tool is the measuring tape. Take your measurements once a week in the morning (waist,hips,arms,legs,chest,calves,weight) and use that more so to determine progress. What you eat though is just as important if not more so. You don't necessarily have to count every calorie, but do try to make smart decisions with what you eat and try to eat small meals/snacks every 2-3 hours instead of 2-3 big meals all day.     Thanks Deb, I am trying I know that, and we'll as of today I am down 4 lbs. Maybe I will get another pound or two before I go and at least be able to eat and drink quilt free cause I always gain 5 lbs. When I get back though I am gonna hit the gym hard. I want a whole new body for April.

    ok this week is gonna suck! mom needs 24 hour care, my aunt lives with her and has been doing it, but now aunt is in the hospital!! strange infection. think i have worked it out to work and go to the gym daily, not much time to go tanning. just want to feel good in new swimsuites, smaller than usual, so i need the gym!! not close to string, probably wont get that brave!! ha ha

    Not sure I will be so brave this time either. I spent an hour trying on my suits to decide the winners that come woth me. If I had my way they would all stay home. blech. sorry to hear about your mom and I hope your aunt gets better soon.

    Well the other morning down two pounds. Wow I though I was doing good then ummmmmmm period early wtf. Well it will be mostly out of the way for the trip but now I am wondering did I only lose weight because I started or is the weight loss for real. Either way I leave Saturday so like it or not my booty and boobies with be all out in a few days. Hahaha. Cancunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

    thanks m. things will work out, just hate it though when you have a stricked schedual and a monkey wrench gets thrown in!! but deal deal deal thats life!! still want to go tan!! ya the smaller suits are very intimidating but wtf!! i guess i can learn to be braver!!!
