Temptations here I come again. Booked my flights and rooms, 11/22-12/6 so only 14 nights this year. Alpharooms.com had a decent price for a single person for about $100/night and got a free flight from American Airlines with frequent flier miles FYI if you are booking from the USA on alpharooms with a credit card I would recommend to call your credit card company before since it is based in the UK and some security flags go up sometimes. After 3 phone calls later to the credit card company the charge was finally successful. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!!!
Intrigued about all this 'shaving head' talk...what happened first time round? Was it a bet or something?
Not really a bet just a good look for Coree. That and Neil and I got bored after 30 or so drinks and had nothing better to do than convince him it was for his own good! I'd do it but shaving my head would be a national tragedy. I haven't even gotten a hair cut since last year since I'm doing lockes for love again this year so I'm still debating if I should get it cut again right before or after the trip. I'm looking like a bad 80's rocker as it is! :headbanger: Damn hippies!
My husband Russ (The AC/DC Guy) has had long hair since he was a teenager and wouldn't dare cut it off! Last of a dying breed!
Just waiting for the day that I go bald. It will save me 30 minutes in getting ready every day! :ernaehrung023:
Too all my American friends I hope you enjoyed Labor Day. To all my Canadian and other world friends I hope you had a great day at work! :ernaehrung023:
Hey Jesse, we get Labour Day off too in Canada! It's one of the very few holidays that are the same in Canada and the US other than religious ones. We had a fabulous long weekend and now it's back to the grind. School starts this week and all the sports and activities too.
That's alright - us folks other side of the pond in the UK have just enjoyed a day off in the form of a 'Bank Holiday' a week last Monday. Where I live in Liverpool we celebrate by having the Matthew Street Festival (only way to describe it is possibly Liverpool's version of Mardi Gras). As tradition dictates, wasted the entire day off ridiculously hung-over from partying the day before at the festival!
