Hi all you repeaters, would someone be able to update us newbies on the restaurants at TTR? Which ones are open for breakfast/lunch, and which ones are open only for dinner? Also I remember reading a post (from 2009) which reported that some of the specialty restaurants (the Italian, Asian, etc.) are only open some nights.

    Thanks for any updated info!

Just got back.. Buffet is open of course for all 3 meals, however sometimes you'll see them cooking outside which is always good. Margaritas is across from the buffet and you can get a meal without a reservation for lunch and dinner. Seafood restaurant no reservation is required and that is located by quite pool (also same place you'll go to to make your reservations for the other restaurants from 10am -12pm) The two restaurants you can make reservations at are the Asian left of seafood and overlooks beach , and Italian (very good awesome service) right of quite pool.
    Hope that helps!

I believe in the mornings the only option is buffet? I have no complaints about this though. Breakfast buffet was always very nice. A lot of people like to get omellette made to order from the grill, but I actually preferred the stuff that was laid out.

You'll want to try the speciality restaurants (ones you have to book) at least once - I preferred the Asian over the Italian. Seafood restaurant was very good and didn't need a reservation. Margaritas (open-air style restaurant next to sports pool) was good for lunch, but again we tended to stick with the buffet to get something quick then back to the pool fun and games.

We ate most meals at the buffet because it was quick and easy to grab a bite (and still tasty) - other restaurants require at least an hour for all the serving and what not.

Apparently now they serve food outside at lunch too? Not experienced this but sounds like a good idea to me!
