I was just reading a bunch of post on different sites and thought I would ask the repeat Temtation visitors. What or how they feel the safety level is at Temptation?:bash:
Never had a problem. What type of crime are you refering to? Gang/Drug war has not affected this area much and I think due to the revenue that Cancun generates there would be a hard stance against the gangs. Of course there is some petty crime in Cancun just as in other places. I have never had anything stolen from my room after about 10 trips there.
We just returned form our firts trip and can tell you that we had no issues at all and were very pelases on how safe things were. We did not leave the resort but as far as the resort goes A+ on safty and we plan on going back next year!!!!:beer4:
if you are talking about the posts and reports from trip advisor about the sexuall crimes and drug crimes crap... it is all B.S. We went for our first time and I can say that even after just one trip I felt more secure there than I would have ever expected. There is no way that anything like that would EVER fly there. There are cameras all over, security cruising around constantly and then not to mention the fact that you have about 1000 of you closest friends watching out for everyone. If someone was trying to pull some kind of BS you can be sure it would be reported and delt with immediately. I had even been witness to one incident where nothing ever transpired becaus eof the fact security was so much on top of things. Go, relax, drink, get naked and have the time of your life!

we went Aug 3-11 and it was our first trip to TTR and the safty of there guests is something they take very serouse at there resort. we had something stolen in our room and the safe that they provide with the room you should use, not saying that anything would happen but now a days you shouldnt trust just anyone. we had a great time and will be back next July.
The last time we went Doug wore a Nike t-shirt down to the pool with gigantic words that read ''Get High'' and we think someone may have accidentally grabbed it by mistake, as it was not there when we got out of the pool. But other than that, we have never heard of any type of crime happening at Temptation.
We have heard of that kind of thing happening before also. I think it all depends on how much people are drinking also. People can easily mistake "someone taking" for "I can't remember where I put it". Not saying that is what happened to you. Then again there are always some bag-o-douche's that will just do it to see if they can get away with it though. Our trip we left/forgot about 20 of the cancunswingers.com bracelets, camera, $50usd and ipod down at the sexy pool at the foot of one of the chairs. Not covered but in a ziplock baggie. Remembering it about 2 hrs later, right about sunset, I went down to see if it were still there. Even though someone had to step right over it to sit down and stake out the same chair... it was all still there.
Was a Temptation Cabo in Jan. and was surprised that on Friday nights the have a huge party that is open to locals. Can honestly say it made for a very uncomfortable evening for most of the resort guests. It was an open invitation for trouble. I cant recall them doing the same thing in Cancun and would hope that it stays that way.
Never had a problem. Groups with numbers is always a good idea if you go off the resort. Not because of danger, but it will ease ur nerves
