Checked the 15 day extended weather forecast yesterday...Cancun is all clear...unless of course you are flying out of one of the states in Isaac's path. Next week...79 for the low....89/90 for the highs...0%-10% chance of showers! Isaac and the next TS staying N and E of the Yucatan! WooHoo
Hey Griff, we get there late on Saturday so we will see you on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting. Don't know what I was thinking when I booked the later flight, probably cost, usually liked to fly out of Dallas around 8 or 9a and we still get to the resorts by noon. I am afraid the cheap cost from Alpha rooms combined with the late flight will result in the crappy room. I may call today and check on an upgraded room. Of course it should be upgraded for free because of not agreeing to change the name on the passenger.
Hello to everyone else there during our stay Sept 1 - 8. Please say Hi to us because I am the worst at recognizing folks. First trip there since the rebranding. There appear to be a lot of improvements to the resort. I hope we enjoy like we used to but we tend to lay a little more low during the day and party at night. At Desire my day is breakfast, bar, breakfast with Kristy, lay on beach bed and chair, Africa brings me some drinks and lunch, get ready for dinner, maybe the rooftop jacuzzi before getting ready for dinner, the evening entertainment and then the disco, and what ever happens there or at the rooftop jacuzzi. So the simple point is don't know how much we will enjoy the sexy pool now. Love laying on a beautiful beach just hearing the waves. uhh, am i getting old?
Thanks for the reassurance. I have been doing some practice. Had a guys weekend last weekend. Went out for dinner and drinks last night.
