Mexico beaches are the best bang for the buck, period. I spend as much on a long weekend trip in my own state sometimes.

I love Vegas! It's always a kick ass time. Like TTR or anything else, it's what you make of it. First class entertainment, food and nightclubs. AND....for me....it's very doable for a 3 day weekend which TTR isn't.

As much as I love Cancun, and try to get there as often as possible, it's not something I can do on a weekend, 5 - 6 hour flight each way eats up most of 2 days.

    Just my 2 pennies worth.

2 hour 20 minute flight, sometimes a bit quicker. hopefully less than an hour to board shuttle, 30 minutes or so to the resort, all together we usually make it from the time we leave our house to the resort in 5 to 6 hours.

yes it is unfair!! ha ha i can drive to vegas in 7 hours, or fly there in 1hr. 20min. for just over 100 for round trip, but i really dont gamble so, its better for us to save the money for other trips. it takes too long to get to cancun, to me!! having to connect to another flight yuk. but at least we get there. soooon
