Just curious as to the music that they play at the pools. I am thinking that if there is any at the quiet pool it would be, well, quiet... but what about at the sexy pool and the water sports pool? Do they allow guests to plug in their ipods to the system, is it streaming something like pandora or the like? Wondering- Nick (and the Boss DJ Kitty)tm
I've always been too preoccupied to listen to the music! Quiet pool has no music. I highly doubt they'd let you plug your iPod as they have a "DJ." It's basically house music at the sexy pool I think. It's more relaxed in the morning and picks up in the afternoon I think. It's pretty much the same music every day though, so I guess it's kind of on a loop. There is also music on at the quiet pool, it's just pan pipes or some such!
All I can think of is I hope you like Pitbull....omg, his songs were played over and over !! But I like it !!
Music seems to change week to week or month to month. When we were there two weeks ago every morning they played disco. Not good disco either, mostly slow and bad disco mixed in with a few classic disco songs. I think they might have played the donna summers CD one morning (not my thing). The afternoons were really hit or miss with the DJ. A few were good and played house music along with the popular songs out right now. A few other DJ's played very mellow music in the afternoon and it really brought down the tempo.
It's basically the same music over and over night after night, day after day. With this said, we had tons of fun! BUT.... the music did get old after 10 days. It was mostly club music, some disco, and a few classic rock songs thrown in here and there. It didn't seem to matter where we were or what event was happening, it was the same loop of music. This is definitely one area that could be improved upon....Just sayin'
Seriously, by the time we left, we were singing along and when we got back we quickly downloaded several songs we would have NEVER listened to before. When I hear "I'm in Miami, B*tch!" or "My Dick" I just smile. LOL
We agree about improving the music..needs a little more variety with some country and like some buffet type beach music would be nice added in with the music they already play. I dont know how it would go over but we talked about how it would be nice to have a country music type theme night with the women wearing somethin like a daisy duke outfit or any sexy country girl look and spin all the new country tunes. but thats just a thought and no matter the music theres no better place to have fun than TTR.
