Should a person buy alcohol at the airport when arriving into Cancun, or buy at the store that is across the street from TTR? Which is cheaper? Has anyone done a price check?:beer4:
Walmart's the place to go! $1.00 bus ride to there, $6.00 cab ride back. (Cab's easier when you're hauling stuff!

Walmart!! The bus is cheap and easy. Not to also mention that you can buy chocolate regular whip cream at Walmart also
At the airport is good, then no other trip is necessary. If you run out during the week or are out anyway, go to the liquor store across the street from Wal Mart, La Europea - they have comprable prices and a much larger selection.
The drug store across from the resort is expensive. One block away from the hotel turn right is an OXO store which is comparable to Walmart.......A half gallon of Bacardi Rum in Walmart was 24 USD last January. Cost in Canada for same is about 55 Canadian due to the rip off taxes here !
I have not been yet - hoping to make next summer work... Whats the need to bring alcohol - do they have such a limited selection or do they serve the real cheap stuff???
