my husband and i have been to Temptations once, last year, end of february first part of march. we usually visit an adults only resort in jamaica and we were traveling with friends who were not comfortable with that resort so we gave Temptations a try. we had a great time and met some really fun people,but i have a question for you all, hoping not to offend anyone, but, when we were there, the age of guests seemed a little young to us (we are 40), thinking it is the time of year we went, but can anyone tell me about the median age for people other times of the year? i know it should not matter, but we do like to hang with people around our age or older, young crowd is not for us, anyone have input?
Certain times of the year attract younger people, like during spring break, but generally I think the average is around your age. I'm early 30s and find the crowd to have been "older" both times I've been down.
March for sure has a younger crowd, try April or May.. there tends to be a bit older crowd then.. but not at heart that's for sure!
We always go in April and october. There are plenty of all ages. Where in Iowa do you live. Us two are also from Iowa
When I went in May it was certainly a mix of ages, mostly 30+. That being said everyone there partied like they just turned 18. Check out the May 2012 roll call as A LOT of people on the board head down in May, I plan on going back in May 2013.
we live in marion, close to cedar rapids. thanks everyone for not getting mad at me about asking about age. like i said we are both 40, but yes, we like to party like we are 18 when we go on vacation, then come home and rest!!
I've been in April and in the last week of November, and the April Addicts were certainly a little older on average in April than the Chaos Crew. On the other hand, I also saw more young punks in April than I did in December (non-CCC people).
I think a lot of the younger crowd tends to go to more clubs..... its all over the board.... But Im 37 and if i had to guess, i would stay im still a little less than the "mean" age
We were there in July and I would say the average age was late 30s early 40s? I'm totally guessing here... we met people from 24----?? 55? 60? I swear TTR is ageless sometimes... Unless you are a real gross sun worshipper and your skin is leather! Then you stick out. LOL
