Ok, tried to search this and couldn't find the answer. As a lot of you know, I have been to cancun a couple of times...... Ok, I'll just say it out loud..... I have never taken a bus,......:anon: How much are they in the hotel zone and how do you get one from TTR and how to get back? There I said it, please Help! Lol
LOL... I can't remember the cost but I'm sure its less than a dollar, the bus drivers are really good about letting you off if you tell them where you want to go, another thing the front desk is really helpful with that, they will tell you which bus to get you to wherever.. And the bus stop is just outside TTR to the right to go to Walmart or Market 28... or across the street to go the other way..
HAHAHA ... too funny - I'm sure if you ask the TTR staff at the front desk they would provide you with this information. We did took the bus after shopping and had no clue ... but, it was easy. We figured as long as we were facing the right direction ... LOL ... we would be okay - explained to the bus driver where we needed to be and upon our stop he yelled "TTR". When we there the fare was less than a dollar - really cheap. Hope this helps.
Instead of pesos , can you just give him a dollar bill or a 10 peso coin? I wouldn't expect change and wouldn't want to mess with it anyway. Thanks for the info.
we have taken bus several times. Very easy. We always have given a dollar bill and some times we get change and some time no. No big deal either way.
I think every one should ride the bus at least one time while visiting Cancun. red buses will get you there. just hold on!!!!!!!!
I've taken the bus there. I paid using $1US dollar and got the same change both times. I think it was like 70 cents but whatever. The only trick that got me was there is no rope to pull to signal when you want to get off. All you do is head to the back and stand by the door.
Great video, pretty much sums it up... however the most fun can be had when the bus is full and you have to stand...LOL hang on for the ride of your life..
We always just give a dollar each and tell him to keep the change and let him know where we are getting off, we have never had a problem. We love the Cancun bus system, it is so simple.
