I must say on the other hand...I ran into a very prudish sinle mid 20's woman who bashed all the other women in the pool because she was too good to take off her top...I had no problem with it except she then proceeded to bash all the topless women. So the ball bounces both ways with men and women being douches. I know halifaxdan remembers this....cashew?..I love this resort..it's by we keep going bak and that was the only time we met someone that wasn't nice, cool, or very interactive with us. Don't get me wrong, there was a bachelor party with a couple guys hammered jerkin their gerkin at the pool bar, but we kept our distance.
LMAO! If you think drunk single men are irritating, try catty single women travelling in packs lol! They are just as annoying as drunk men, just more subtle: the whispered knife in the back as you walk by them lol. The absence of these nasty critters is one of TTR's big advantages over other resorts. Everyone can dress as they please and be whomever they want to be at TTR without all the cattiness that goes on when a resort has a high percentage of insecure 20- and 30-something drama queens. :clappyinghappy:
Nothing makes me more angry than some late teen, early 20s girls giggling or being catty at Darcy if she wears something too sexy for their tastes. Lets see them look as fabulous in anything even close when they get to be our age. And besides, mind your own business and go gossip about babysitting and leave the real world to adults. Ok, now I'm being catty....
You don't see many douchebags during the day. The douchebag is usually found late at night, after drinking all day in the sun and worked up from the slightly sexual vibe you get by the pool. They can be married, single, with a group, on their own, male or female! It's a personality trait that comes out when they've drank too much and possibly sexually frustrated or taking the atmosphere too far. If it is a one-off I'd brush it off, but if it was the same person being a douchebag day after day I'd be annoyed. I definitely do not think people should be blaming singles for this.
I completely agree !! I've seen the catty women Paul was talking about and i've seen married men be more of a pain at times .. the groups of single men in April that i have encountered have been and always will be long time friends and they came in large groups so it's not all just the "single" men that ruin it !! Maybe some people just expect a perfect vacation but there's always something that someone will complain about !!
and later on that day she was topless in the pool after she had said she had way too much rspect for herself to be topless!!!
People are a lot more likely to right a bad trip report, then a good one,, on Trip adviser anyway, If you (they )had a bad trip your more likely to complain,, then if you had an average or good trip,,, if you had an awesome trip you (they) may right a good report. ?? A lot of trip reports are sparked by bad weather,,, people get p1ssed they spent all that money for bad weather and look for something to complain about
Some resorts offer single women discounts in order to even out the male/female ratio.,,,,,,, ie third girl stays free in a room
