Tropical Storm Ernesto: Cancun

On a more practical note, assuming this does hit Cancun, what the best areas to loot first? :icon_wink:

 

Hmm we get into Cancun at 11 Wednesday morning. We are taking the boat to Isla, where we will be staying for 3 days before coming to TTR. Man I just hope it veers off into the Atlantic

 

Does Channel 12 run weather advisories? Just curious...

Ariving on 10th. Storm is making us nervous, we're really looking forward to meeting everybody.

 

Fast-mover = No big worries
Slow-movers = Huge prioblems sometimes

Simple little tropical storm Allison came to Houston a few years, back, and just parked herself over the city for about 3 days. Rainfall was measured in feet, folks, not inches. Slow = bad.

I think this one will turn south and if not its a fast mover which is good. Always good weather behind a storm that's a positive.

 

We are scheduled to arrive Thursday morning 8/9, it's our first time, we have been counting down for days! now a hurricane?!?!! I really hope it it doesn't ruin our trip :-(

 

Me too! We will arrive on the 9th in the afternoon. Hope the hurrience goes away by the time we arrive there.
