I agree with all above it's not a problem. If you have a preference for Pepsi, there is a small convenience store next door and a larger one acrosss the street. I actually went daily because I am a big wine drinker, and although you can buy some nice wine at the restaurants, the wine poured inclusively is terrible a quick trip before dinner to the store and I had a nice new Zealand wine every night! The same could easily be done with Pepsi shauna
I honestly couldn't tell the difference in the quality of the cola they serve at the resort, nor the beer either. The wine on the other hand is pretty bad unless you order the stuff you have to pay extra for.
Keep hydrated, water after every two or three drinks and the big 'ol bottle in your room before bedtime
So, my friend coming with me says she will only drink wine during the day, should we buy some when we get or bring some with us? I should say because I don't drink wine!
I agree, with the heat it's easy to get dehydrated. At the pool I would always try and order a water with every other drink and sip on it. You still get drunk but without the overheating effect.
I brought wine into a restaurant with me, no problem, they opened it and served it to us and kept it on ice.
The red wine is somewhat tolerable-sorta, the white wine, IMO, is just awful. (But keep in mind I work as a wine rep, so I'm slightly more wine-snobby than most) You can each bring in up to 3L of alcohol from the states, which is 4b of wine per person. They will gladly serve it to you anywhere, and if you are at one of the bars they will 'tag' your wine just for you. FWIW, I work as a fine wine and beer rep and I just drank liquor the whole time, except for the wine that I brought. Also, JDB shared some alsatian white she bought in the Asian restaurant (the wok) , and it was deeeee-licious and not crazy priced (less than $30)
I didn't bring the wine in the restaurants actually, I paid $30-40 at the restaurant for wine. (a bottle that is approx $45 here in restaurants, but $20 in stores) I should mention I'm Canadian though...our wine is certainly more than in the states due to taxes. I think we paid approx $15-20 across the street for a similiar quality wine.
