Looking for a travel agent in Toronto!!!

HEY!!!

My boyfriend and I are looking at going to Temptation for Feb 16th-23rd (OUR FIRST TIME!!) and we are having a very hard time finding an agent who knows anything about the resort!! We have done a lot of our own research and love everything about it and now we would like to book!! If anyone could give us some advise or knows of a great agent in our area it would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

 

I would think that even though a travel agent has not heard about Temptation any one of them should be able to book it for you. lots of us book it ourselves on line. just have to search around for a deal.. some book directly with the resort and book flights seperate also on here there is a link for Alpha rooms..you can book room only then also do flights seperate.. all depends on how comfortable you are to do it yourself on line..

Im in agreement with Partygirl.
You can navigate your trip yourself if you feel comfortable.
The alpha rooms have the best prices.
Interjet seems to have the cheapest flights right now.
Im a travel agent, now located in Syracuse New York.
I can always book a package for you.

Thanks to the both of you for the quick reply. This is the first time we've really gone far for a trip and i guess we're a little nervis about making sure everything goes smooth. One of the big concerns is showing up at the resort and being sent elsewhere or get the run around in general when it comes to the room we book. This trip is a pretty big deal for us both and we're really excited. Is there a better guarantee of a specific room or a room in general if you book right with tbe resort compared to online or with an agent?

 

Thanks for the welcome! We've been creepers here for a bit but its nice to actually make proper use of this awesome site. This is the only site we're on or have posted to though so i'm not sure who the imposters are..... they must be pretty cool though

 

We just booked through All Inclusive Vacations | Last Minute Vacations | Vacation Packages | Cheap Flights - tripcentral.ca We have used them numerous times and it's always been fine. I don't think who you book through makes any difference on getting bumped or not, just be friendly and polite and you'll be fine!

 

Hey , we are from Toronto as well and we booked through redtag.ca

redtag takes most of the companies that are usually the best in price and just gives you the best prices for those dates... but it always varies.. they jump / drop daily!

To give you an example we paid 960$ in october (11th) and now i think its almost 200$ more each.

 

We always book our rooms directly from the hotel online, never had a problem. Then I only fly Westjet there as from Edmonton it's direct. We probably pay more this way but I've always thought booking direct through the hotel I would be the last to get "bumped". It may not be true, just my superstition!

 

Thanks to everyone for the great responses!! we are going to be busy this weekend checking out all the different sites thats for sure. Now I know I am going to sound like a total "newbie" when I say this but what does "bumped" mean? I think I have a pretty good idea but just want to confirm that I'm not way off lol.
