My hubby and I aren't really big drinkers...I do like frozen and mixed drinks (Dirty Banana, yum!) and wine, and he likes a few screwdrivers now and then but we don't really drink til we're drunk. You all may think this is silly, but...are we going to be able to get soda or other soft drinks??? Pepsi preferably, but Coke will do. Don't worry, we'll still be loads of fun!!! ;-)

Definite yes. Try out the banana smoothie they serve at breakfast I found that very yummy! You could also try get low-alcohol drinks, like drunken monkey without the rum etc.

In all the times we have been to Mexico, I have never once found it a problem to get coke. :aktion030:

Abosoutely. Just plain old bottled water, too.

    Bubba-keg with Pepsi, no problem.

I usually began my morning off with with a sample of all the fruit juices with breakfast, then filled my bubba keg with orange juice. Once that was gone....the bubba saw nothing but cerveza for the rest of the day! And then the same thing the next day, and the day after, and the day after......Paradise!!

The one thing I really like about the resort is that the bartenders do not give you any hassle about ordering non-alcoholic drinks. We have done a few excursions and that was not the case. On those, we would get boos and thumbs down for ordering a soda. At the resort however they are happy to pour soda, water, and juice at the bars and the restaurants no problem.

The only bad part is that the only way to get a Pepsi is to walk across the street to the nearby store to get it. They do not have it complimentary at the resort.
