Hi- I was perusing this board and found the recommendation for Alpha Rooms. I booked a 4 night resort say for early September. They have successfully charged my credit card, but I never received any type of confirmation email. Its been almost a week, I figured they would have sent me *something* by now. It seems near impossible to get in touch with them via email (do they even have an email address?). As an American, I am not quite sure how to call them - though I could probably figure it out with my friend google. Anyways - any help would be greatly appreciated. Is this normal to take this long? Should I be worried? Any recommendations on getting in contact with them? Thanks! -Matt PS - First time to Cancun. We are going for my Wifes 30th b-day. She doesnt know yet :wink3:
Just go to their website and use the ''Manage My Booking'' feature. Once you get to the Manage My Bookings home, one of the options listed is to Resend Travel Documents. All you have to do is print the accommodation voucher and bring it with you to check-in.
I know we had difficulties as well - I'm not sure how long it took for us to receive our confirmation, but we did end up calling - I believe to call from Canada/USA is 011+44+0871 911 0030. I hope this helps - and is correct information. Good luck to you! :aktion069:
When you booked, you should have received an Itinerary number. Use that number while following kristinaanddoug's instructions.
I know this is a stupid mistake - but I assumed that the itinerary information would be emailed along with a confirmation.. so I didnt print it out. I realize that Alpharooms has a poster on the board, so I just PMed her. Hopefully she can help. ATT charges ~$1.50 per a minute to call the UK, so I would prefer not to call if I dont have to. That could add up really quick!
We have our voucher email, but when I went to their website and logged in it said we have not current bookings.
We use Alpharooms regularly for our own bookings, we always get an email almost instantaneously. If you haven't received anything I would get in touch. Wow $1.50 a min to the UK is expensive! We can call the US from the UK for about 5 cents a minute. There was an alpharoom rep who posted on the board. I'm not sure if she is still around last log in was Feb 2012, when Sarah from Alpharooms posted:
