There is so much neon in the shops today I think I'm back in the 80s.

Good grief. The price on the trip I've been waiting to book actually went UP by $50 today. The price was already way too high.

How dumb is that.

 

I book directly on the resort page ... usually beats most quotes plus I can specify my jacuzzi room

we beat the price we paid for the same time last year

 

Thanks, Soop. The prices will drop by September, but I'm impatient, esp now that the November roll call is up. Lynn and I may book room and flight separately, but at the moment I'm watching a 7-day charter package because I can apply $400 in Airmiles certificates to the cost.

 

I don't know about flights in your area but have you looked at alpharooms for the rooms? They've been at a $100 for awhile now.

 

I actually just caught a seat sale and booked a $569 flight to Cancun for September, but usually it's about $800 and it takes ALL DAY to get there. The nice thing about the package deals is that you fly direct, and it's only about 5.5 hours.

 

Sad as it is I'm kinda missing the good ol days of the swine flu. The prices were super low for a couple of years.
