Halloween Week, Oct 26 to Nov 4, 2012

Just a thought guys. How about just Whorrors 2012. I know I should be going this week. You will all have to have a blast without me. I like the name.

 

Theme night

Alright, here is my suggestion for a theme night. I am hoping it will be an excuse to mingle and be playful. As I have stated earlier, I am a big fan of Mardi Gras. A few years ago, on a whim, a friend and I flew down to N.O. when the Saints were in the Superbowl. It was the best!!!. I loved the atmosphere before the game and was thrilled and shocked when they won the game. What a party!

As you know on Bourbon St, girls and guys would toss beads from the balconies into the crowd below. Generally to earn the beads, the girl (or guy) would have to flash something. Anyway, from the balcony perspective, I was amazed that the thing that was being flashed most were "smiles" (along with boobs). It was all ages, shapes and sizes of people flashing and they all were happy to have the chance to do something crazy. The people in the balcony cheered everyone on the same and not just beauty queens. As strange as it sounds, it all seemed like good natured fun. I think of Temptations in the same light.

Anyway, here is my idea. Everyone here brings 20 beads that are all the same. Ideally brings something cool that people will remember you by. And one evening (hopefully Sunday November 4th), we have a Mardi Gras night with a twist. The twist is this. At any given time, you will either be a giver of beads (the beads you are wearing are all the same) or a collector of beads (you'll won't have any beads on or you will have all different ones on). The collectors need to find the givers and get those beads. The giver of the beads will have to name their price. A flash or a kiss or a dance or a drink or a body shot or somehing with A.I. whip cream. Whatever strikes your fancy at the moment. Perhaps there will be some negotiation and comprimise. Flirting goes a long way with me. Perhaps as the night goes on, the price will go down or up. It seems like a great excuse to mingle and be a little daring. It should give everyone a little momento of the vacation and the special people that they met. It will also give us an excuse to bring our "A game" to the night - women will need to be at their seductress best and guys will need to "bring it" as well. Remember that whenever you feel like it, you can go from giver to collector and therefore go from the flirted to flirter. No rules, whatever is fun to you.

Sounds like a good theme.. we usually do a bead night in April with just the regular :flash:. Ill add it to the schedule. It's all tenative until we all decide its final..

This halloween week at Temptations sure sounds fun. If we can work it out i would sure like for us to make our second trip there for the Halloween week.
