This is for anyone who might be in construction....

I am looking at installing a new privacy fence in my yard - wooden panels type because its in our budget (about 180 feet and having 70 feet of an old wooden fence removed.
I will be buying all materials but am looking for someone to do the labor.

What would you say would be a fair price to have someone remove 70feet of an old fence and install a new one around 180 of a wooden panel fence?

I own a fencing company but can tell you the install price is normally a footage price but seeing that you have the material (keep in mind all the little things too, screws/nails, concrete, etc) it should be a pretty easy labor quote. Are you useing the pre-built wood ones from lowes/home depot or building the sections from scratch? 180ft should go up in 2-3 days max and that's including taking out the old stuff (he'll probably charge you to actually haul it off not just take it down).

All that being said: shade tree handy man $10-12 hr per person plus beer
actual fence company $300-500 per day

just a guess b/c it really depends on how the market is where you are.
