I run a car wash and have many immigrant workers. They NEVER drink Corona unless the customers buy it for them around holidays. In the 3 car washes I have run, Coors Light is the beer of choice for the immigrant workers. Go figure.

On another note, do try a Modelo black and tan with Modelo Negro + Modelo Especial. Different + delicious.

Good plan, and you may want to bring along of couple of glasses for the red. A Napa cab is a plastic glass is still nasty.

Buy it at the duty free shop at the airport in Cancun. We bought a few bottles of our favorite liquor, and enjoyed them at our room parties. ;-)

Hey Mike, I don't think there is a single beer that comes out of Mexico that can hang with the Sam Adams Boston Lager. Just not in the same class.

That being said, I doubt there's a decent tequila out of Massachusetts, is there?

If we are comparing things local to Mexico and Boston...... Who would win a 7 game series right now..... Mexico's world baseball classic team or the Red Sox..... Most of the time I'd say the sox..... not so sure this year tho..... I guess it would really come down to which team Gonzalez decided to play for.....

"The Black Pub" about 10 minutes from TTR serves Samuel Adams Black Lager along with about 15 or so other good imports.

Gotta agree with Ajay. After the first 6 it really doesn't matter what you're drinking.
