I could possibly be quite useless at this. I made vodka jello about 12 years ago, and it basically didn't set. Was a large bowl of mess. I think my mistake was making one big bowl instead of individual portions!
I've made thousands of jello shots for our Atv rides, but usually do around 300 for a weekend. These things take alot of room in a fridge to set. Don't know I'd try to mess with it in a hotel mini fridge. Just my $.02

I have been the jello shot making queen at parties lately, and my favorite recipe is Lemon Meringue: Whipped Cream Vodka and Lemon Jello. If you double up the small paper cups (I got 250 for $4) they won't leak. I am seriously considering making a big batch for the end of July
Yes, all rooms have a mini-fridge and 4-cup coffee maker. And the mini-fridge does very well in solidifying the jello in less than 4 hours.
