We keep seeing a coco bongo theme night. What the heck is that all about?? Also, what is the Tempted party night about as well??
Coco Bongo Night I've only been once (and it was in March) so others may be able to elaborate. This is Cancun's main night club/attraction. When we were there I'm guessing 3000-5000 people on 3 (??? a bit fuzzy) levels. Pretty cool Vegas style shows throughout the night. Go go dancers and unlimited drinks (with the TTR package). Pretty good age mix - we were 35 and not the oldest by any means but tons of 20s. The "sardines" comparison certainly held in March - maybe less busy in August - time will tell. That said our group is going back on August 20 - too crazy to pass up. Cheers
Coco Bongo is not a theme night. It is a nightclub in downtown Cancun. The entertainment staff takes TTR guests to different nightclubs every night. I believe Monday night is Coco Bongo night. It is a must see! :ernaehrung015:
Every monday night staff take a bus load to the Coco Bongos night club. For I think $50 you bypass the line up, a reserved area just for TTR guests and free drinks all night. The line up when we went was huge, the entertainment was definitely worth it and went till must have been past 4 am. And always had a drink in my hand and you can leave the reserved area and go dance on a bar (girls). Sometimes even end up on the stage in the show, Wendy and Monique did the one time there. An evening well worth experiencing if you have never been.
