Update on Miss Temptation 2012 Grand Finale Week

Hey everyone!

I know that there are some of you like Bearhug (Nathan) and Mommabear (Carol) that go down to TTR every January during Miss Temptation Grand Finale week, when the overall winner for the year is chosen. Usually it's the third week of January. I wanted to let you all know that the resort has now confirmed that there is NOT going to be a Grand Finale week this year...I received an email from the resort today in response to my enquiry, as I've been holding open 3 weeks of my work calendar pending a decision by the resort, and it's been causing some issues for me at work.

Instead of a Grand Finale week, the monthly winners will receive a certificate for a one-week stay at the hotel double occupancy, airfare not included.

The details have not yet been ironed out with the sponsers, but there is going to be an online contest to choose Miss Temptation 2012, who will win some yet-to-be-determined prize.

LOL...I can hear the collective groaning you all are doing at the thought of multiple Cancuncare ladies pestering you all at the same time for your votes! Or at least I'm assuming there will be a voting process...I can't think how else you would choose a winner online. Believe me, going thru another grueling 2-week voting process is NOT something I look forward either!

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that there will not be a Miss T week in January this year, so you can factor that into your holiday planning. Maybe once they post when the voting will open, you can book your holidays for then ha ha

I'm glad they changed this after multiple complaints. Last year it sounded like a lot of the girls bailed at the last minute. I think a free week to use whenever you want would be a much better prize anyway. Some people just can't take off that time of year, so now they can use the week whenever they would like.

Online voting for a yearly winner sounds like a bad idea. I'm sure there will be multiple complaints that the system is rigged. Hopefully everything goes well...

 

From what I've heard, Miss T weeks are fun for everyone at the resort, but I can't say I'm too disappointed that I don't have to take pole dancing lessons between now and January! :wink3:

I'm with you on that. No doubt the contest will turn ugly. Plus all the effort required to stir up votes is something I am loathe to do again, and I absolutely cringe at the thought of pestering CCC people a second time.

 

Well.....we can set something up for a pole for you to express your inner stripper on when you're here in Calgary. :wink3:

Maybe the level of harassment for votes can be adjusted to the value of the prize involved. Just saying...... :deadhorse:

 

Uhhhh, not sure that's a good suggestion, big guy. No doubt the grand prize is bigger than the monthly prize. lol

One of these years I WILL come down in October, but it won't be this year, Frank, due to my work schedule. Lawyers' calendars gets booked up to 2 years in advance, which is why the uncertainty over the January finale week was causing problems for me. I blocked off the last week of November and first week of December 2012 for holidays as soon as I returned from TTR last December!

 

Wonder what the grand prize will be?

 

Karen although I always go in January during the finals week. I really don't think the girls had much free time during the that week. So I would really say being able to pick a week at your own leisure would be better. Hopefully they will add something to your winnings since they are not including airfare. It was my understanding before they paid for 2 to fly and stay for a week. Now the winnings are down to a 1 week stay only..seems they have slacked a bit.
However, we both know as many others do, its the people you meet and friends you make at TTR that make it so much fun! So finals or no finals you are still a great lady who reprents TTR with class and cougar skills
