I heard there was a storm raging in Cancun. Does anyone have any update as to if there is damage at the resort. According to TWC, the storms will be ongoing till Friday or Sat. Getting a lil bit worried we leave out Thursday morning. Any info would be good.
LOL! Sorry couldnt resist. We had a half hour of torrential rain on Friday, a little bit unsettled Saturday with a few showers that lasted minutes. Sunday was perfect weather, blue skies, no rain and the Boobs Cruise went ahead on very calm seas. Today (Monday) it's been the same as yesterday. Take a look at the sky in Cancun live: Cancun Live Webcam - Live Webcam in Cancun The weather can change quickly in June, but my guess would be there is plenty of sunshine ahead.
You can't go by the weather channel for trr last Halloween we booked and then canceled due to a pending hurricane which ended up being nothing other than us missing an epic time.
I don't worry when weather channel shows sun and rain. I know there is always a chance of scattered rain. Right now Friday looks bad as well as the first of next week. Ive decided not to look anymore. Im ready to party regardless of weather
Seriously guys the weather channel and most online weather sites have been showing similar weather for the last 2 months and probably will do for the next 6. I cant remember the last time a day was completely washed out with rain all day - maybe October 2011? There is always a high chance of rain on any day at this time of year but it could be for a minute or two, it might be at night or it might not happen at all. I have seen it rain in our front garden but not in the back garden! Today was listed as 40% chance of thunderstorms, yesterday was 50% - it hasn't rained at all on either day. We don't have a lot of rain here. It's Cancun Mexico!
I got a call from our travel friends asking me about the weather so i had to check it out. Once again this proves to be the best site around. Thanks again Steve for the update. We can"t wait for the Boobs Cruise it's the best, our last one was in 07 and it was the best part of the vaca.
No worries. You sure cant beat a weather report from someone who goes out to the garden out to give you the latest It's dark now but I can see stars in the sky with maybe 15% puffy white clouds. Our 20ft coconut palm is barely moving in the breeze. Really hoping that is not the kiss of death and that the Boobs Cruise runs ok on Friday. It's been two years since we last cancelled one due to weather so I think we'll be ok I should add that I always monitor the weather for tropical storms/hurricanes at this time of year. If there's ever one looming I'm likely to be the first to post about it and give updates.
