realized something we forgot to put in the trip report! USA Transfers ROCKS! Courteous, on-time, air-conditioned, and straight from the airport to the hotel. PLUS, I'd misunderstood and thought it was $55 each way for us but it was $55 total! (Plus tip for the really friendly helpful drivers!) Will NEVER do any other transfer except USA TRANSFER!!!!:clappyinghappy:
We second this. Our first couple of trips to Cancun (pre-TTR) we did other transfer companies. Finding them at the airport was a hassle and had to go in a van with a group. I think we stopped at every other hotel before getting to ours. Great way to "tour" the hotel zone, but it took forever. It was such a relief to find USA Transfers and have such a smooth and quick experience every time since.
Was just looking at flights and dates online and re-read our trip report - WHAT A GREAT TRIP WE HAD, thanks to all the great folks we met! Can May 2013 get here fast enough? NO!!!

Thanks for the thorough and thoughtful report. As hedo vets for nearly the last decade we are looking forward to keeping the party pace going while not seeing the amount of in your face PDA's that we have seen on the increase over the last few years. Thrilled to hear that the crowd was open minded and welcomed you though as you said the resort is largely "geared toward heterosexual folks." I can only imagine your initial trepidation on booking.
