I consider premier a hybrid timeshare. it has, in general, a lower up front cost, but because of the all inclusive, you still pay a certain amount per night. That amount is considerably higher than $52.99 but considerably lower than high season.
Just booked with Alphrooms for Oct. instead of using our membership too. The nice thing with Alpharooms is that you only have to pay the deposit now and the balance is due like 2 weeks before your vacation, so if they do back out of the cheaper price then your not out all the money.
It was us who started this. It was 40$ a night cheaper thru alpha rooms than premier. I called ahead of time and they told me that since I did not book thru them we would not get the gold band. We made a copy of our contract and highlighted the part that says as long as you pay the all inclusive fee, you get the gold band. Does not specify from where. We had a two hour meeting when we arrived on 5-9 and got our gold bands!
Good for you for not giving up. And ur right, the contracts don't say where u have to book from, but I bet they do now.lol
its seems the "sale" is over... just checked and for the 8-15 of october its back up to $829. lets see what happens....
we booked from orbit last time and when we showed up that gave us all kinds of a run around and would not give the members room or wrist bands untill the next day when they made us go upstairs with them and they tryed to get 900 bucks from us. after about 3hr with them. they saw how pissed i was with them and i guess they didnt like me talking about how they lied to us about being able to book with who ever i wanted to. so they gave us the new wrist bands and moved our room. in the end i guess you can book with anyone you want but they sure dont like it and make it hard on you.
Premiere found the price around mid-night when it cam out. And yes they were NOT happy about it since it was lower than what they were charging their members. They did decide to honor the price for their members and will give members the bands and all the amenities for that price. Premiere has changed. New management is in charge with a new attitude on how to do business. For once there is a person in charge that is really concerned about the customer be happy, not just the business making money.
