Hi all, we went to TTR in Jan this year and the white out night was great. I see they have changed the white out night to some kind of toga night and wanted to verify that with past guests before visiting next month. Nothing worse than being in the wrong costume lol. Thanks.
They call it a Bacchanal party, but Julie was one of the few in a Greek goddess dress, and only a few of the guys (and a couple of gals) did togas. Most people just wore white (which works really well with the Glow Night we Cancuncare folks paired with it). I think the resort doesn't want to explicitly call it a "Toga Night" since then they'd have to deal with everyone ripping sheets off their beds and ruining them.
the toga thing is new, and hasn't caught on yet with anybody. We just saw everyone wearing white instead, and way better. It was still a great night.
Thanks guys. We'll leave the sheets on the bed lol. I didn't remember the glow sticks last time. We'll have to look around for some of those. Any suggestions as to where the best place to pick up rave supplies?
Oddly enough, the times Stacia & I've been to TTR on the so-called Toga Night, we've never seen anyone wearing a toga, ever.
