Hey all, looking for some help... havent yet booked but looking at doing so within the next week.. Am wondering what time of year is best to go to Cancun?? Am looking at between April and july of next year??? I want the best weather with little rain (am from England and it never stops here) Am looking an Rui Cancan hotel?? Anybody visited this place? Myself and partner are traveling and were 24, so looking to party at the night time, relax and drink through the day and take a few day trips.... Thanks in advance Becky xx
I highly recommend Temptations Resort. I can attest that the group of people there during May are some of the best I have ever partied/hung out with/vacationed with. For the first time in my life I plan on returning to the same place for vacation exactly one year after, and I have traveled many places. I recommend reading the forum though and online to find the hotel that best suites you. Theres something for everyone, and I am sure you will find whats right for you. I do not have as much knowledge as some other board members, just ask the questions you have though and I am sure you will find the answers you are looking for. Justin
The Riu Cancun is nice, very big, popular with Brits and close to the clubs, also good for kids. Food is good but night time entertainment is a let down imho. There's either the theatre which has corny shows such as Michael Jackson and Elvis or there's a few different bars but no one seems to interact with each other. As for the best time of the year, April and May is my favourite. Prices are cheaper and it's before Hurricane season which starts June 1st. June and July usually see more rain than April / May and are hotter - sometimes too hot. Cancun Weather

I am dumbass then!! I wanted spring like weather and wanted to avoid spring break crowd, hot atmosphere and hurricanes, that's why we decided to come on May 31st. I thought we will still get to enjoy spring type weather in general. I will be staying for a week there next week. I already see Hurricane Bud hitting other side of Mexico. I thought hurricane season don't start till end of july and runs till end of Sept/Oct.
