The problem is, I don't believe that, given the timing of the votes, and when they are received.

Good morning...yes, voting runs for another 2 hours to noon Cancun time.

Don't get frustrated, friends. We can't know that Valentina does not have a genuine base of support that really pulled out all the stops for her yesterday evening. All we can control is the number of votes I get.

Canadians are still on a long weekend, but my American CCC friends are back at work this morning. :usa1: If your workplace has computers or your co-workers have smartphones, and your workplace is not a conservative one, we have a chance to close the gap in the next 2 hours. If even just 15 of you could add 3 votes from your workplace colleagues in the next 2 hours, I could pass Valentina. Her voting strength comes at night...not in the mornings. Obviously, I would not ask you to risk getting into trouble at work, but if you have the opportunity to vote from work today, and get a colleague to two to vote, it could very well make the difference in this contest.

I rounded up one more picture for Day 13. You haven't seen it before because I don't like it much, but I have no others left at this point....

Well, for reasons that are a mystery to me, my vote count is quickly rising this morning, and poor ol' Valentina is no doubt wigging out just like I was yesterday evening when she added 145 votes in 8 hours.

I am out the door to take my son to his grandparents' home outside the city for his big family birthday party today, so I will not be online to see the voting wrap up in 45 minutes.

But just cuz I go offline doesn't mean you should. Remember, the real battle is to stay as close to Valentina as possible so I have the opportunity to beat her when whatever false votes she might have are deducted. So please keep voting right down to the wire for me, people.
