Thanks for sharing your October experiences. Definatly don't want to be there for a storm like you had in 2011. Our airfare is around $1300. Sounds like it's cheaper to fly outa Canada, or maybe I don't know where to look. Thanks again ,HMMM,decisions decisions!!
Over the last 11 years, we've went 9 years. One year we were there for 10 days and it rained all 10 days at nite. And I don't mean just a sprinkle, I mean it was a constant non stop down pour for hours. PatyO's didn't even open. But the other 8 years were beautiful. Even that year that it rained it was beautiful all day and we still made the best of it at nite. (BTW, that was the year we met Ed and Susan and Chet, and it was all Ed's fault it rained.lol) We've been there several times when there was tropical storms coming in and ya you get some rain, but you just adjust. It is hurricane season after all.
its seems the "sale" is over... just checked and for the 8-15 of october its back up to $829. lets see what happens....
it just quoted me $600 for your dates (for 2 people). i ran every week in october and they were all at $800+ lets hope they honor the cheaper prices. i emailed them tuesday that i wanted to pay my balance and they havent responded yet. (fingers crossed)
just called them direct. expressed my concerns. not only did they say it was a valid sale they let me pay the balance due with no issuses and instantly emailed me my travel vouchers. im all set!!!:xyxthumbs: now gotta shop for cheap airfare!!
Logged into Alpharooms to check our Itinerary - Says balance due is $340 and change for our 8-night stay in October that we booked a few days ago. So for those who paid a deposit - we appear to be locked into our rate. Has anyone been part of the Alpharooms blow out sales before? What were the previous prices?
