Alpharooms price drop.....what to do??

We are already booked for Sept. 1-8 at "normal" prices, so I just went and looked at Alpha rooms:

$361 for "Double Deluxe"
$1437 for "Deluxe Ocean View"

Seems like there must be a typo somewhere. Congrats to those that get these super-cheap rooms...that's much cheaper than living at home...hmmm...

 

I'm going to call in the morning and see about canceling and rebooking with the new rates. Hopefully all goes well. Also I'm glad I brought this topic up for those that were able to score rooms

 

Someone on the board found a lower price yesterday and rebooked. Asked Mellymel how she did it.BostonMel on here actually

 

I canceled on the website using the "manage my booking" link. Saved $332 after re-booking. Now just waiting on the documents to hit my inbox.

I just checked for the week we are going in August and the rate is 506 for the both of us. How can the prices be so low? Has anyone used them before? I'm currently going as a premier member, but if I can save $700 I may just go this route

 

I am a member and I have used alpharooms a few times due to the low prices, I have never had problem with them and since Im rarely in the room, getting the garden view or street view room never really bothered me.

 

Just booked 6 nights at beginning of Dec for $306. Hope this doesn't come back to bite us, but it saved us $600!
