Karen’s DRAMA-FREE “Miss Temptation April” Sexy Photo Countdown!

Well, Valentina has added 36 votes since early this morning, most in the last hour, after only adding 3 or 4 votes the whole weekend. My lead is down to 9 votes, and I only still have a lead because CCC'rs have been posting votes this morning as well.

But that's all I'm going to say about that, since this is a "drama free" thread! You can draw your own conclusions.

 

Good point, Jim and Cheryl! I need to remember not to get frustrated...I knew that things would likely be this way when I decided to participate. Thank you so much for continuing to round up votes for me :aktion033:, and for gently reminding me that I need to keep some perspective on the whole thing.

I'm thinking that the best thing to do is to keep voting like crazy so that the resort sees that I really do have the biggest base of legitimate support. I don't think I've been getting any "outside" assistance yet, as I have asked everyone to tell me when they have voted so I know there are "real people" behind my votes.

I really don't know what happens with the contest, but there has been a lot of discussion here on CCC in the past few months about whether the resort might tinker with the voting. I DO believe that Valentina is out there trying to round up votes as hard as I am, and if her votes came in regularly like mine do, I would not be scratching my head. What has been happening is that I build a lead, and then within an hour or two, Valentina posts 30 or more votes to close the lead after having few votes come in for many hours or even days before that.

I'm certainly not suggesting Valentina is doing anything inappropriate...she is probably wondering what the heck is going on as well. The pattern just seems odd enough, and has repeated itself often enough, to make me wonder. It's obviously good for the resort to have the contestants' vote counts stay close, as it makes us both work harder to stir up votes.

Anyway, that's the last I'm going to say about this topic, as I am striving to keep this contest fun and drama-free for CCC members, as I promised at the outset.

I have only been a member here for a few months, but when i joined I went back to the last available page and read everything I could to satisfy my curiosity (yes, i have lots of free time) and I can say confidently that every thread on Miss Temptation ends in a very close vote no matter if the winner is at 900 or 300. That can only be explained by having something fishy going on.

I will say I love the MT threads. Having people you only know through Temptations rally behind you whether you know them or not is great to see.

I say keep the contest going. Enjoy the support of your friends and followers, but ricx_gh you can't make me believe that something isn't hinky.

BTW Karen. I voted with my two email addresses last week. I think you are certainly the winner no matter how it turns out.:aktion033::aktion033::aktion033:
