I booked our vacation for labor day weekend (4 nights) in March and the rate was $425 total. I have been checking every so often and today when I checked the same time frame, it's $206. That's a dramatic difference. Do you think they will honor the new price? Should I try to cancel/re-book? Am I just screwed?
Check out Alpharooms cancellation policy, not sure what it is myself. $206 for 2 people 4 nights? That seems way cheap - like $26 pp per night. Even at the original $425 price you paid that's still a great deal. Save a few more dollars maybe, but screwed definitely not
The terms and conditions rule out my first question. According to their cancellation policy it's 20% if it's 56+ days out. I never said my original price was being screwed, I was just commenting on the being screwed out of the $219 difference. That's alot of money that could be used for various other things. *edit* actually it's a $438 difference since I booked 2 rooms
the trick to booking on these kinds of sites is once you have booked don't ever go back and look.. haha.. we have all experienced this at one time or another.. its the chance you take i think.. and it sucks.. and sometimes you go back on the site to get the price and its gone ...
$51 a night for two- are these prices legit? This seems unreal for the price they are offering - while there is a chance Cancun could get hit by a Hurricane - at these prices its worth the less than 1% chance the resort gets wiped out and your vacation ruined!
