Hey Jill, I'll admit, most of our pics were just drunkenly shot in the general direction of our group, and we got a lot back with random topless women in the background...and I'm sure in the same way I'm in the background of someone else's. The good news is, the odds any random picture with you in the background would find its way to someone you know are just too miniscule to worry about. People you know at TTR wouldn't publicly post naughty bits. But let's go worst case scenario--a stranger takes a topless picture of you and posts it on their Facebook. If they don't know your name, they can't tag you. If they can't tag you, that means someone you know has to coincidentally know them, care enough to look at their photos, look carefully enough to recognize you...and then if they say something you just say, "Gee! She sure does look like me! How weird is that?!! Nope, not me, though...I don't even know that person whose page it's on." Have a good time and don't let it worry you.
I am planning on getting one of the Password-protected spots for the pics from the past trip (April 2012), which have some really good, fun shots of the party-people on the BC doing what party-people do. When it goes up, PM and if you were on the cruise, I can shoot you the PW. Remember, the sign-up list is in the archives of the sight, I betcha!
Jill - To be honest, I think we took pics the first cruise with steve. My camera still has issues as for some reason rum punch was spilled on it. We take the quick pic but really not much gets taken after we start to get drunk and havin' fun. If Steve ends up takin' pics they are respectful and internet friendly. Laura and Todd - drunkenly shot, wasn't that the whole week?
We are all saying essentially the same things!! just different ways of expressing it.We have been to TTR 15 times and Steve's boob cruise a number of times. What has impressed us mos tof all is the lack of problems due to picture taking. We really rarely ever notice a problem. Trust me there are not many people on earth that would be more concerned about pics than us if it was dangerous. This is because we are all very responsible ,respectful adults with common sense. I think as long as we keep doing what we are doing we dont have to worry about pics John
I agree with you totally John. We take tons of pictures but never with the intention of being disrespectfull of anyone and are very careful of what we post. But we want to be able to take pictures for the memories because sometimes our memory is not that good, if you know what I mean!!!!!!!
Amen! pics are for personal memories and that is it. Have been to TTR twice and we are booked for two more trips, let the good times roll. The people are what makes TTR what it is - the best vacation spot in Mexico.
