When we were at Temptation in September there were no large groups of single guys. But there were quite a few single guys in groups of 2 or 3. No one was rude or disrespectful to anyone male, female, hot or not! And yes every single male took no for an answer. As a women I never once felt uncomfortable around any single dudes. Kristin
We laid out on the beach a couple days with those guys lurking in the background. They ogled the ladies but never approached them. However, they were acting like tremendous douche bags. One group was a bachelor party and I think the friends were intent on killing the groom via alcohol poisoning. Besides, Kati had her hands full with fighting off all my unwanted advances...
If you are female and left on your own for longer than 10 minutes then expect to be approached by single men. I think this rule applies for ALL women - not just the hot ones! Guys will just try their luck and a firm 'no' should resolve the situation. I wonder if guys have this same problem from single girls!?
groups of single guys are always bad....it MIGHT happen. So you need to be prepared to ignore them and have fun anyway. We've been three times. Twice they werent really a problem but once there seemed like a dozen pathetic single guys were always around...they are truly pathetic. We arent really against singles ....but in groups they are like apes.
We were there in April 2010 (2 couples) and never really had any problems... There were two groups of single guys from the UK... One group was a little loud, but they were young(early 20's) and were looking for young single girls, the other group was fine, we had a great time chatting with them and having some drinks!!!
When encountering apes, do not make eye contact or aggressive sounds. To avoid making aggressive sounds, just keep drinking. To help with the eye contact thing, get yourself some of these.
Once Jim told them that it was his ass they kept putting their hands on they backed off and left me alone. Lol
Needless to say you guys are doing a good job of second guessing my decision. You can't leave your girl for ten minutes without some approaching her? So lastly is the first week in nov a bad time for single guys?
No one can predict the future, but that time of year you are far less likely to have that problem. We were there the 3rd week of Oct. last year and didn't have that problem at all. We were back in January this year, and still didn't have that problem. I think it is a spring break thing, March/April, that would be the peak time I would guess. We'll be there end of this week and I'll let you know if we see any of those shenanigans on our trip
