Stacia ALWAYS checks the weather before we go and it's almost a joke. She gets upset that the forecast says its going to be showers, cloudy, T-storms and/or rainy the entire trip. I just nod sagely and tell her it will all work out, and all will be well. Sort of a Zen thing is how I present it. Her spastic self usually gets pissed at that point. Then, when we get there and the weatherman is proven, again, to not have a clue as to what the weather is, I repeat my sage-klike, Zen nod, and make my way to the bar. Thing is, Cancun is, of course right on the coast, so even if the weather is bad, the way weather works will generally (note I said generally) clear it out and change it up within 90 minutes or so. There are some exceptions,of course. I admit to being nervous this time as the forecast calls for perfect weather, low to mid 80s, sunny, only partly cloudy the entire trip. Remember how often the weatherman is incorrect? Nervous...
Actually, one of my favorite moments this past trip was dancing in the rain in the sexy pool Good times!
Room parties, drinking, hanging with new friends. How could the rain spoil that, make your own fun. Weather is no problem when you want to have a blast.
If it rains, we've set a rule between the both of us! We'll play a game (whatever makes a winner and a looser). You have to dress in white: t shirt and underwear The looser go get some drinks at the bar for all of those taking part of the game!!! Wanna join?
Brilliant. Especially the "dress in white t-shirt or underwear" -- sort of an "organic, all-natural wet t-shirt and briefs contest" -- BRILLIANT!!
