rob hope all is well we just did a big picture swap with the group that went to los cabos (march 30 - april 8) and it turned out well with almost 2,500 pics from approximately 10 cameras. the best thing about the swap is seeing pictures or videos (equally fun to swap) and saying "wow so glad somebody got that one i almost forgot". the other thing we did different on our swap this year that really expedited being able to get all the pics of those who sapped distributed (already sent them out to everyone sho swapped)........was getting them all downloaded onto a computer prior to everyone leaving. you guys might want to consider this as i have seen it take up to a month to get them all out otherwise. anyways hope you guys have a great time - miss you all and hope to see you in new orleans for the big party in september rob/t
Hey Rob, hope you and T are doing well and will jiss you guys again this year. I am going to have my laptop to transfer when people are there if they want. Also I am going to have a website they can upload to if they prefer to do it that way since some people mistakely take pics they don't want shared on the same sd card as those situations do happen when you just don't have the time to switch out. Last yr it did take about 2 months to get all the pics from everyone but that is the price you pay to get all the amazing shots that you may have missed. I just want to make it as comfortable and easy for everyone. The problem with downloading them before everyone leaves is some get great pics the night before they leave and then leave early in the morning. I am sure it will all work out. It took longer then I wanted to get them out last year but because I had alot going on with work but that shouldn't be a problem this yr. Rob
Rob and Rob you both do amazing jobs when you sort this out for people. I wouldn't have the patience for it. Thank you both for making all our trips to TTR and Dallas so memorable xxx Lynfa xxx
One more week and we will be partying it up.....cann't wait to see you and Les again. This year I think will be better then last year with looking at the roll call and seeing some of the comments that the newbies to our group are posting. I can see many memorable photo ops in the works
