    AlbertaCouple,

I just wanted to thank you for your instructions on how to post a pic. I did exactly what you said and it worked perfectly.
Our first tip to Temptation Cancun will be Jan. 25 to Feb.1
    Thanks again,

Steve, I have tried this many times but cannot get it to work for my profile photo. It keeps saying unable to load file. I tried a .gif and a jpeg is there only certain types it will except thanks.

I also tried the photo bucket thing and it didn't work also..

Finally had some time to put up some pics. I takes a long time at only 4 images per upload page sequence, Steve. Just saying. More upload slots or a FLASH system might speed that up. Apologies if already discussed in this big old thread.

We are cancuncare, not Facebook or youtube ;)

Upload slots are limited because some people try and upload 20 * 12 megapixel pics direct from their camera all in one go. Loading too many large file sizes at once may use up all the server resources leaving none left for the people using the forum or even cause the database to crash due to the intensive server side image processing which is a huge resource hog.

It's usually fine when folks upload smaller file pics a few at a time that they have already resized. The only alternative is a server upgrade which is more money.

Step by step for internal photo sharing

you don't need a photo bucket thingy.

#1 go to your User CP upper left hand corner on the home page
#2 on left half way down the page, click on Pictures and Albums
    #3 Click on ADD Album
#4 Create your album(s) and upload pics
#5 To post pic....... Click on the picture in your file
#6 Copy the pic URL address under the pic after you open it
#7 Go back to the post you wanted to post on
#8 In the REPLY tho Thread box , click on yellow box with the mountain
#9 Paste your Address hear, (delete the http that is already in there, don't want it twice)

Sounds complicated but after you do it once its a breeze .
