So we are going for our first time and were wondering if A) where is the best part of the resort to stay? B) can we request a specific part? C) whats the best chance of getting that request filled? I hear its not great to be around the paty O or sexy pool if you want to sleep at all. But I dont want to be so far it's a trek. :icon_lol: any suggestions to plan before we go would be appreciated. Thanks SnS
WE got stuck behind patios in Nov and it was ok for one night but we complained and they immediately changed our room. If u ask u shall recieve Any room you get away from patios IS NEVER a trek. Its a fairly small resort so not too much walking. Goodluck!
I think Kelly Cat summed it up. I would let them put you wherever, but if you don't like the area just ask to be switched. The only big problem is if they put you around patio's, then I would request a different room right away if you don't want to hear loud music all night (into the early morning). The resort is small, so no problems about hiking it anywhere. You can probably walk from one side to the other in 5 minutes.
Yup, nothing is too far to walk at Temptation, that's part of the charm! Request to be near the quiet pool, we were there and loved it (and actually got some sleep when it was needed). Enjoy your stay!!! ______________________________________ Vote JEN for Miss Temptation March!!! Miss Temptation Contest 2012
We stayed ground floor next to patty o's and loved it....didn't have to use the public restroom and could stumble right into bed when the party was over........ never heard a thing outside the room other than one night the party must have been up against our door.......listened for a minute and all seem in good fun so went back to sleep.... We also have stayed clear at the far end opposite side of the quiet pool on the 3rd floor......... didn't like it so much...... that third floor after the party was a challenge... however........ it's all gooooooood.
TTR has been really good about our room requests. We did the online early check-in (I think you can do it up to 15 days before you arrive) and requested quiet rooms, and they honored it both times. Now...not all rooms are equal. The first room they showed us to this time was a tiny interior room with no bathroom door (I think the 3100 building.) We just asked for a different room and they got us one quickly (3400 building, 3rd floor=MUCH nicer!)
Building 3 is a premiere building so us low lifes don't have much chance of getting in there anymore. But I agree.. best roms in the house! Jamie
We had a ground level jaquzzi room at the quiet pool and it was great. Very short walk anywhere and never disturbed by noise. Also made it easy late night to step over the short wall to our patio and take a dip in the pool.
We paid extra for an ocean front room in November. No joke we got a groung level floor toward the marina that looked at the toilet across from it. No joke I have the photo to prove t. Showed it to the front desk guy on my iphone. The second room I could tell by the bellhops expression that we would not be happy. So we left the luggage in the lobby. It overlooked the pool not the ocean. He was not happy when I sugggested that we keep it and he refund the extra we paid for the upgrade. Third was the charm. Above Paty o's. OCean and sexy pool view. Loud at night but drinking the way we did caused doll eyes for both after we got back to the room and crawled in bed. That's where you lay back and the eyes close, sound asleep.
