Hey guys 6 of us are going to TTR for a bachelor party on May 18th. I've been to Cancun 3 times before, but first time staying at Temptations. All of use are drama free, and between 25-30. We all just want to have a good time. Any recommendations? We were thinking of doing the boob cruise on May 20th? Anything else? Any advice is appreciated
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll have a great time at TTR. It is what you make it, and as long as you are there for a good time you'll find it. Hate to put a dampener on things, but we don't accept groups of guys larger than 3 on the Boobs Cruise. It changes the dynamic, since we are usually 95% couples and generally an older crowd. I can get you booked on the hotels version of the Boobs Cruise where groups of single guys are welcome. They run on Tues and Fri though which doesn't seem to fit your dates, unless the 18th is your first full day rather than arrival date.
Awesome! That makes sense. Would you recommened the hotels version for 6 single guys, or do you recommend just taking a normal booze cruise?
I've never done the hotels version but I know the itinerary is similar since they copied the entire concept off us The main difference is the people on the cruise, the hotels one is generally a younger crowd and a lot more singles, a little shorter than ours and a little more expensive. Definitely don't do the regular Isla Mujeres day trip if you're looking for fun - the regular cruise is mixed with people from other hotels and usually includes kids. If you do do it, remember to take a good book with you!
The guys at the towel hut by the sexy pool should be able to help you out with what you are looking for there friend. When asking about the cruise, make explicity clear that you are not interested in one with kids. Outside of that something I have done a couple of times that I like for a day, is to grab the FAST ferry (the yellow one, catch it over by the pirate ships) and go to the island. Rent a golf cart, drive south out of the village and through the drive through beer store. Don't worry you can't miss it. Get a dozen or 2 dozen beer. They will make a cooler for you out of a box and plastic bag. Grab a beer and drive around the island. Stop at the point on the far south end of the island and walk around (lots of lizards etc to check out. there is a small pub with a sign that says, "Beer so cold it'll make your teeth hurt on the ocean side of the island. Stop there have another beer. When you get back into town, drop off your golf cart, find a pub, shop or hit the beach. Grab a ferry back and you will have had a blast of an afternoon. Lots of other stuff to do during the day, the pool of course, jeet skis, excursions. All depends on what you want to do. At night, check out what club the hotel staff is going to. If it sounds like one you want to check out by all means go. I particularly like Mandala, Sweet Club and Coco Bongos. For something a little more spontaneous hit up the Dos Equis or Congo streetside bars. The second day, well that's up to you Have fun guys!
Hi Guys. Check out the may roll call to see who is there at the same time as you. see you in 5 weeks will & cami
We will be there the same time. I would suggest getting involved in the games and try meeting as many people as possible before heading down. Too bad about the Boobs Cruise but understand Steve's rationale. We wouldn't have minded but I am sure there would have been a few that cared. If we think of anything else, we will let you know. You might want to try and get a group together one night to have it as a bachelor party night, have a group of people get together to celebrate. We are doing that one night as a graduation celebration.
Welcome to the fun! Make sure to post your names and some pictures in the roll call thread so we know who the "lucky" bachelor is so we can do a shot to celebrate. As they say misery loves company! LOL j/k been married for 9 happy years, 4 that were okay and 2 we should probably forget... oh I'm a dead man when she reads this... I mean they were all the best!! Out of curiosity, what made you guys choose TTR for a bachelor party? I am sure you will have a great time, just don't be the group that sits in the corner, doesn't talk to anyone and stares through dark sunglasses all day, else I will need to ask you to move from my spot! But seriously, get to know people, mingle, drink and have a great time. With any luck... you will be back and bring the significant others with you.
