Hey everyone!! 7 days to gooooo.. OMG!!!!! (Apr 17-24)
So with the trip quickly approaching, we thought we would compile a list of things to bring, things to expect, and things to do when you arrive that may be helpful to some of you newer Temptation goers. These are not MUST-DOs but we have found them helpful throughout our trips.

    - Bring about 100 American $1 bills; don't even worry about Pesos, American is accepted everywhere, and tipping in $1 bills is easy.

    - A waterproof case for room key and money (Damon often puts is in his bathing suit so we don't leave it unattended at the pool chair).

    - As soon as we arrive, we hit up Walmart to buy Gatorade, snacks, and any last minute items. The bus picks you up outside of the resort and costs about $1.

-Once you arrive and pick up your luggage in Cancun, airport workers will try to carry your luggage for you and show you to the shuttle. They are quite pushy and will expect a tip, so unless you are prepared to do so, firmly tell them no thanks.

-You need to make reservations for the A La Carte restaurants. I believe the time to do this from 10am-12pm at the seafood restaurant, and you can book up to 3 days in advance. You can usually get into these places without a reservation, but may have to wait a while.

-Bring a Bubba keg type mug for around the pool. The cups they give you are quite small, so this saves you having to go up multiple times, and it keeps your drink cold.

-At the resort you will be asked to attend a welcome breakfast or something similar. This is a time share meeting, so if you want to avoid sitting in an office for a solid chunk of your vacation we would advise you skip this part.

    - For the men, you must wear pants (not sure about jeans) and closed shoes for A La Carte dinners.

    - Girls, any type of bathing suit is considered appropriate, just can't go completely nude. Topless is quite common but obviously not a must. At Patty'Os anything goes and you will see women dressed from casual to sex club sexy and beyond.. just same rules apply (no full nudity).

    - Seadoo rental prices are not set so feel free to negotiate; this also goes for the little shops and sellers along the beach and in the village.

    - You can bring your own wine to the A La Carte restaurants if you prefer and the waiters will serve it at your table.

    - Do not lose your red rental towels as it is a $25 fee.

    - Every night the event staff have a shuttle to one of the major Cancun clubs. For $40-$50/person you get shuttle to the club and all you can drink, but you must find your way back. Cabs are available and it is appropriate to negotiate price. They will give you a high rate, but typically $10-$15 is reasonable.

    - We encourage you participate in all of the contests around the pool. It makes the trip more memorable, you meet more people, and the prizes are great!

    - Channel 12 is free porn...(mostly anal, haha). Not really a tip...but hell yeah!!

    - Get to know the bartenders. We usually start with one good tip to start and then smaller tips throughout the day!

    - Be mindful of your luggage weight. They will charge you extra if you are over (especially on your return flight).

Hope this is helpful so at least some of you. Feel free to message us with any questions. Can't wait to party with all you sexy people!!!! And did someone say Boobs Cruise on the 19th??? Hehe...

    - If you plan on getting a chair by the sexy pool, get your towel on your way to breakfast or before and place it on an available chair along with a recognizable shirt or something so yours doesn't look like the other thirty in the row.
    - Getting drinks at night at the Paty O bar is hard sometimes because of all the people that congregate near the bar area, just run over to the sports bar and grab a drink and head back.

I would say just go with a regular camera, and buy a disposable for any underwater shots. Kodak Sport is about $10. Unless you plan on doing a lot of underwater shots, or plan on having your camera with you in the pool often.
