Have they made it to Coco Bongos yet?

 

I believe they need to be at least 18 years old to get in there ..... and I don't think they'd survive the "fun" people would try to have with them at Coco Bongos.

 

That's funny...I was just thinking last night that it would be so fun to have Marissa join me up on the bar at CB, but that there's no way she would survive the evening...hell, I barely survive a night at CB myself! :icon_mrgreen:

The real Jeff and Marissa only survived about 15 minutes at Cocobongo... I am frightened to imagine how the dolls would do. A hilarious idea though - it would probably make for some great pics!

 

So, we finally got some of the pictures uploaded to the computer.

We were lucky enough to look after Jeff and Marissa for the week. Gotta say.. they make great chair savers and are awesome conversation starters. They spent some quality time in our jacuzzi also!

One morning, we woke up and collected Jeff and Marissa off the patio to bring to the pool and we noticed that someone had added an orange wristwatch to Jeff's wrist! (see pictures below).

It was at our patio jacuzzi that Barry and Susan from Atlanta noticed them and struck up a conversation about how they had been following the story in this thread about the dolls. They were very knowledgeable about the whole legend, so it was at that point that we realized we had found new adopters. Barry and Susan seemed honoured to accept the responsibility and on April 2/12 they took official ownership after a ceremonial exchange in the pool.

It was shortly thereafter that a group of obnoxious guys from Quebec thought they'd be funny and kept stealing the dolls. Kelsey, although already relieved of her responsibility for the dolls, felt it was her duty to continue protecting them. On three separate occasions, she chased these dorks around the pool and on the final time, grabbed it back, and shoved the goof into the pool with his towel on. Classic.

We hope that Barry and Susan continue the tradition.

(Interestingly, it has gone Canadian, American, Canadian, American..) Should we try to continue this pattern?

You guys really showed them a good time! And Kelsey, you're a good mom. What I would have given to see you chasing that guy and dumping him in the pool! See you next year?

 

Just a quick update... it seems that Marissa has decided to keep going for the obnoxious young guys... Two days into or posseion, a UK military brats grabbed her and jumped on to of her into the pool before we could even blink! Sadly her arm had a massive blow out!

Athough a patch kit was supposed to be delivered with them, it was apparently lost before they were transferred to Derek and Kelsey... not sure it would have mattered. Jose from the staff worked to cement her arm back on and left her in a vice over night. Today we breathed life into her once again, however she still seems to have a slow leak at this time... we haven't given up on her though!

Needless to say Jeff has been greif stricken ever since...

We leave tomorrow, so hopefully she will be in working order by then... if anyone has a patch kit, you may want to pack it when you come.

Looks like we are not nearly as good of parents as our predecessors... sorry to have let the peeps here down.
