For the past couple of weeks I have not been able to find ALMOND DREAM anywhere. I usually have purchased it in cold section at Mega and have tried the one by Costco and the one on Lop Portillo, without success.

Walmart and Chedraui have been known to have it too. I have checked them as well as Superama and NADA.

I have usually been able to find Rice Dream and no one now seems to have it except Chedraui at Las Americas. I bought 3 liters yesterday at $43.50 each. I have seen it a couple of times, but not regularly, at Costco and I checked there two days ago when I was opened my last liter.

Of course they have it today for $265 for a case of 12, about half what I paid yesterday and normally. Cancun Fun, if you want to share the bounty, I will split it with you. I just lugged it up the stairs.

Silk has an Almond drink, PURE ALMOND, that I think I got at Chedraui at Las Americas. Everyone seems to carry Silk branded soy drinks but no one has the Pure Almond

BOTTOM LINE: DOES ANYONE KNOW FOR CERTAIN WHERE I CAN GET ALMOND DREAM TODAY. EMPHASIS ON FOR CERTAIN AND TODAY.

Welcome to Mexico - We sold out all we had so we won't reorder and sell more. Let's try to sell the stuff no one is buying.

I've been looking for Almond Milk as well with zero luck. Chedraui had it, but has not been stocked now for a few months. Our son is on a casein-free diet to treat his autism, so it sucks not being able to find it. He just doesn't like the rice milk, but have to go with it, until almond milk can be found again.

I am on a mission. Suggest we all speak to a manager at Las Americas and ask them to stock this product. I DID SO YESTERDAY.The Silk Almond drink is a good substitute. Other"Dream??" & Silk products are in stock NOW. Should be no problem to add what they obviously sell out of.

BTN = Better than nothing. Hey Val. I stopped the bleeding temporarily. I just bought 1 lt of Pacific Foods Organic Almond at Las 3 Puertas, on Mojarra, off Nader. But it was costly at $67 or $68.

BUT they have Rice Dream for only $42, cheaper than Chedraui. I told the gal my friend (you-liar liar pants on fire) and I would each buy a case if they can start selling the Almond Dream at $ 42.

    Val,
If you turn onto Nader from Coba, Mojarra is the first street you come to. But it is one way coming out. Obviously go to the next one, go to the corner, make a right, go to the next corner make a right which heads you back toward Nader and it is immediately on your left. Several parking spaces and an easy to see sign on the building. They have Agave, Quinoa and other interesting goodies. I think the prices are generally way too high on the things I want, but the Soy Dream was a good price.

We don't have many options since The Greenery closed.

I would love a Trader Joe's type store here but hopefully they are way too smart to come here. It needs to be locally owned by someone with a vision but who wants "partners" that you can't live without, pun intended?

23.4.12 Update: Surperama on Bonampak has Almond Milk. It's expensive, but at least it is available (for now).

    Hey Val,

Was going to send you a message anyway but will post here first.

What brand does Superama have and how expensive is expensive?

    Gracias,
    T.J.

Silk is the brand (never tried it before until now). Seems like it was around 60 pesos (though I can't remember). We bought all that was in stock at the time ;)

    Awe Val,

I have plans for Starbucks next door at 12:30 and was going to go by there. Silk is a great brand. I used several of their flavors in the US but rarely see it here. Maybe I will go to the Cumbres since someone wiped out their inventory. LOL

Thanks for the info and the PM.
