Dos, basically you just said the same thing. The problem we have here in some states is that NO ID is required. I have yet to read or hear a valid argument on why a person should not be able to produce some sort of identification proving who they are, where they're from, etc. Virtually every other thing we have to do, whether it's driving, drinking, smoking, taking an entry test for college, etc. requires ID.
I think if the states pushing for a voter ID card were to say, bring government issued ID with you it would be an easier sell for sure. A separate card just for voting seems like an incredibly dumb idea when you already have forms of ID that everyone likely already has, or should be easy to get.
That is exactly what was proposed. Bring in your regular ID or, if you don't have one, then bring in your own personal voter ID card. The Dems are having a fit about that as being discriminatory. Yeah, it discriminates against voter fraud.
