twice - and third trip is end of April 2012

my husband won the dirty joke contest in January

Sexy pool - duh!

Margarita or Blue Lagoon - when detoxing I will drink vodka cranberry!

5: What's the funniest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there?

Chinos wearing his huge cloth dick costume on the Boobs Cruise

6: What's the sexiest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there?

I saw a couple in the sexy pool trying to pretend they were not fucking, when clearly they were - was sexy as hell!

7: What's the worst (your definition) thing you saw at TTR the last time you were there?

The staff member conducting the contest for movie songs was completely clueless about the songs - and when her answer key was OBVIOUSLY wrong, she still used it (she said the Lord of the Rings theme song was for Pirates of the Caribbean - and a bunch of people in the pool were like, no fucking way! That kind of sucked)

8: Which is the best time of year to be at TTR?

winter or spring

9: Who is the best Front Desk staffer, and why?

don't know their names, but there was one lady at the concierge desk who was very helpful to us.

10: Who's your favorite bartender, and why?

I can't remember his name, but he was in the swim up bar and was awesome.

11: What happened the last time you were completely naked at the swim-up bar?

I was never completely naked at the swim up bar ...

That is a great question, for which I don't have a witty answer ...

14: Which is your favorite place to eat at TTR and why?

El Embarcadero, I like the beef burrito with the habanero salsa you have to ask for. Wish they had more Mexican food there!

15: Who is your favorite Cast Member, old or new, at TTR and why?

Chinos, no comparison!

16: Have you seen any Good "balcony shows" at TTR? (Ever given any?)

Not yet - but will be happy to give one in April

17: Which is your favorite place to go "from" TTR,to go out (club, cruise, restaurant, etc.)

We liked Chichan Itza, would have preferred to go without a tour group to spend more time there, and less time at the stupid gross buffet/sales trap.

18: Do you like the beds at TTR and why?

Beds are ok, pillows suck. We bring our own pillows.

19: Favorite theme night you like to participate in?

I like sheer night - and am bummed I'll miss it on our next trip (it is the night before we arrive)

20: Last thing you did at TTR you regretted later?

I plead the 5th on that one - my husband knows :icon_redface:

 

1: How many times have you and your Plus 1 been to Temptation in Cancun (TTR)?

15 times – a total of 205 nights or 6.75 months adding 15 more in May

2: Have you ever entered any of the contests or activities, and if so which one(s) and did you win (what happened?)?

Yes, lots, sometimes yes and sometimes no. Never lost at crazy darts though.

3: During daylight hours (assuming weather is good), where's your favorite place to hang at TTR?

Beach side of the sexy pool, about 5 chairs down from Diego’s Bar.

4: What's your poison (drink) while at TTR?

Rum and Coke and Lime. Very rarely drink before dinner.. want to be able to enjoy the long night after dinner.

5: What's the funniest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there?

Years ago they used to teach dances to the folks by the pool after the water aerobics class. They would use the participants of the class as the participants to the dance lessons. We were there in November and it was a little cold in the water, you expected to have to chip through the ice to get back to the surface is you dove in. So there was little participation one day for water aerobics. So when Lalo and Chinos stood up there to teach people to dance, no one was there. They kept asking for participants to come up. I started to feel sorry for them and started to get up when I heard Chinos say to Lalo.. “Be gentle with me, this is my first time.” I froze in place. As Lalo started to teach the dance steps to Chinos I sat back down. Chinos started to learn the steps he had been helping show people for years. All of the sudden her turns to the empty space beside him and tells the invisible lady there to stop stepping on his feet. For some reason this lady wouldn’t move over and kept screwing up and Chinos was reading her the riot act. He then started talking to the “other” people around him. This went on for 20 minutes and honest to god you started seeing these people he was talking too! The entire pool was laughing their asses off. It was a day when you really wished that your eyes were a video camera so they could have caught this act. It was the best thing I had ever seen and I laugh this day every time I think about it and wish there was some way I could share the vision with others.

6: What's the sexiest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there?

They used to have a nighttime game in Nice Shoes called the kissing contest. Several couples would compete for the sexiest kiss. This one couple won with her naked bending over to the pole with him on his knees behind her. I needed a cigarette after just watching it.

7: What's the worst (your definition) thing you saw at TTR the last time you were there?

Not the last time but definitely the worst - I was on the 3rd floor of Section D at the time, now Building 3 (the four story building at the end of the sexy pool). Was out on the balcony watching the people in the pool when this naked lady gets out of the pool and runs to the bathroom by the pool. She slipped and fell on the deck (not hurting herself). She landed with her legs about and from about 100 yards away I was able to see lips part. Enough said.

8: Which is the best time of year to be at TTR?

Definitely May. Warm to Hot days, with comfortable nights. October has the same weather but has hurricanes too.

9: Who is the best Front Desk staffer, and why?

Never really spent a lot of time with the front Desk staff.. but the on duty Managers have been for the most part outstanding. My favorites aren’t there anymore, but they are not forgotten and are missed.

10: Who's your favorite bartender, and why?

Can’t give you one. They all are absolutely outstanding! Treat them right by learning their names and treating them with respect and they will make your vacation absolutely fantastic. I had one run into me in old town Cancun one night the year after I had my heart surgery and he was over the top that I was still alive and back in Cancun. OK.. he was really drunk, but still.. I had to laugh how he kept going on and on and kept hugging me in a headlock that about choked me to death.

11: What happened the last time you were completely naked at the swim-up bar?

Never been naked at the swim up bar…

Wife’s number one rule – no public nudity! Enough said.

13: What's the funniest pick-up line you've heard while at TTR (doesn't have to be directed at you)?

God I’ve heard some great ones… at the time… then sobered up and forgot them.

14: Which is your favorite place to eat at TTR and why?

Chinese restaurant, cause the food is so good! But on any given night any of the restaurants will be good cause they all have great food. However… never miss the opportunity to get a 4 AM cheeseburger in PadyO’s coming back from the bars. Best damn cheeseburger in the WORLD!!!!

15: Who is your favorite Cast Member, old or new, at TTR and why?

You know, I’ve never had a bad experience with any Cast member. I’ve loved them all. Each time you think no one can be better, another one comes along. All of them have larger than live personalities around the pool and are true feeling humans away from work. I love T and Amy, I miss Stacy and a lot of the other ladies that have come and gone. Of the guys, Enrique because he was smooth.. the man’s man that you always wished you could be, Chinos, because he could always make you laugh.. even when he felt like shit – because that’s just what he believes he needs to do – always bring joy into the world, and Lalo because for all his warts he was a real human being that cares for people.

16: Have you seen any Good "balcony shows" at TTR? (Ever given any?)

Seen a few, never given any… or at least any that I thought people might have seen. Saw one one year where a guy in building D was getting a hummer on his balcony during the day thinking no one was paying attention. I called out to Chinos who was on the mic at the time and he directed everyone at the pool’s attention to the show. The wife started to get up but the husband put his hand on the back of her head and told her to keep going. We all cheered him to climax!


17: Which is your favorite place to go "from" TTR, to go out (club, cruise, restaurant, etc.)

I have to say to Coco Bongos. Been several times and the show never seems to get old.

18: Do you like the beds at TTR and why?

Yes.. I love firm beds.

19: Favorite theme night you like to participate in?

I’m thinking at this point… glow night.. just seems to bring a smile to everyone’s face to get the cheap 20 cent glow wrist band. Don’t know what it is, but if you bring them out total strangers will come up and introduce themselves in order to get one!

20: Last thing you did at TTR you regretted later

I can honestly say that I have never regretted anything I have done at TTR. Now I do have a few regrets on things I haven’t done… but that’s another story.

An old (70's) guy hanging out from early in the morning to late, late into the night. He could hang longer than most young people.

April/May - the temp is the best

Herbert! He is simply the best.

2: Have you ever entered any of the contests or activities, and if so which one(s) and did you win (what happened?)? Mr. Temptation, Drinking, Iron Man and runner up two years in a row in intenational beer pong. (Damn Canucks)

3: During daylight hours (assuming weather is good), where's your favorite place to hang at TTR? Second seat from the left at the sexy pool.

4: What's your poison (drink) while at TTR? Long Island Ice Tea or Vodka and Seven during the day. Jim Beam and water for the nights.

5: What's the funniest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there? No such thing, each momemt supasses the others and the best were probably forgotten in a blacked out haze.

6: What's the sexiest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there? I think our X-mas party would be a highlight in combination with the Lingerie show.
7: What's the worst (your definition) thing you saw at TTR the last time you were there? Just the few random drunks that take go overboard. Nothing that can't be handled.

8: Which is the best time of year to be at TTR? 2 to 3 weeks from Thanksgiving on. Chaos Crewe!

9: Who is the best Front Desk staffer, and why? The one who gave me a room key after I lost it only wearing a sock.

10: Who's your favorite bartender, and why? Jose at the pool, Pedro at Patty O's.

11: What happened the last time you were completely naked at the swim-up bar? I got a drink.

14: Which is your favorite place to eat at TTR and why? First couple of days the Asian and Italian. For a weeks or so the buffet going into the tail end of 2 plus weeks just some water and saltines.

15: Who is your favorite Cast Member, old or new, at TTR and why? Don't have a preference. They were all nice to talk to and engaging.

Better question is how many times have you not seen one.

Very much so. They keep me off the floor most nights.

Crown and Sprite (Have to bring my own)

5: What's the funniest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there?
The funniest thing I saw last time was a drunk guy sitting on the side of the pool with
his feet in the water………..ASLEEP! He was sitting up to start but kept sinking lower
and lower. We watched and laughed for about 15 minutes and we finally woke him up
and made him move before he fell in and drowned.


6: What's the sexiest thing you witnessed at TTR the last time you were there?
Two beautiful ladies making out………………(need I say more)

7: What's the worst (your definition) thing you saw at TTR the last time you were there?
SECURITY………….Just kidding.

Any time at TTR would be better than not, however we always go in mid May.

I don’t know the front desk staff very well.

All of them are awesome. My favorite would have to be Johnny

Never been naked at the swim up bar but have been naked in the pool Jacuzzi and the
sports pool during tequila volleyball several times. However my wife has been naked
at the swim-up bar.

Asian restaurant, hands down.

Chinos has to be our favorite, but we have loved them all. T will always have a
special place in our hearts. She was a sweetheart.

16: Have you seen any Good "balcony shows" at TTR? (Ever given any?)
Seen a few and given a few. We once got a standing ovation and didn’t even know we
were being watched.

Private Yacht trips.

Yes. Any bed is good when drunk and sleep deprived.

here it’s hard to find them. We have friends from TTR that we stay in contact with
year around.
