Thanks for all of the replies guys. I've been to Temptation numerous times, what I found to be a problem last time was the fact that there wasn't a day that I didn't have at least one meal with a hair in it. I never had this problem before and it became laughable how many times it happened last time I was there. Doesn't matter now though, I just booked our return there today, for June 21-25. I'm sure the better weather will make a big difference on this trip.
Ryan, If February is more fun then September, I am glad we didn't go in February, my old body might not be able to take it. September was the greatest vacation we have ever had. In a few days we will find out how April rates against September. If its half as good, it will still be fantastic... Todd. April 2 - 9th
It sounds like your weather dictated your activities. I noticed our last trip (February) that on the days it was raining between 9:30 to 1:30 there were no activites to speak of during the day, either. But, that's weather. The rain was blowing in at a decent angle, and it was miserable in the pool unless you were hammered. We considered jumping in a nd pounding drinks to get that way, but decided against it. Last two times, Nov. 2011 and Feb. our food was great, just our experience.
We just got back from TTR and it was nice. We actually went there 6 out of our 8 nights as the other2 were at Desire Pearl which I will get to later.....But Temptations was a mix of younger and middle aged people and lots of singles..yes, mostly guys lol...But none were rude as most were miding their own business and hanging at the pools. The only things I did not like were that they did not have amny activities nor did they use the quiet or the sports pool. Its ashame because I love to play water volleyball lol...And honestly, I thought it was going to be more of an "active" party time but not this crowd...nothing exciting was going on as everyone was around the pool, drinking and talking...the food...the BEST was the Asian!!! I LOVED the Asian place! The Italian was OK, the buffet was the same every morning and lunch was not bad but was not great. If I could I would eat at the Asian every night lol.....The Spa, was nice, we had a few massages lol...prices were not bad either....nightlife, hmmmmm well, we went to bed early a couple of the nights as it was a bit boring for us lol...Patty O's was OK, as we felt we needed to find people to chat with in order to have a nice time and stay awake lol...We met some great people and are keeping in touch with them for sure....If you get a chance, do the Boobs Cruise opposed to the regular one offered there...Chinos and Omar were great! lol Also, do the waverunners as they are right there in front of the hotel on the beach..AWESOME time!!! We think we are , well we know we are going to try Desire next time....better for us..OH!! As ar as Desre Pearl...don't go there until they get established....nothing is going on there...NOTHING!!!!!!
